The Sapphire Pegasus Award recognizes and honors outstanding performances by companies and individuals in Business Aviation. In total 115 nominations were received at March 13 deadline which represents an increase 32% over last year. Most of nominations were for companies; several were for individual professionals. The Board of Advisors is now reviewing the nominations. The eight judges are industry experts and journalists who will have the final word on the election of the award winners. The organizers of the Sapphire Pegasus Awards have announced that due to exceptional demand the deadline for nominations has been extended by one week. The closing deadline will be Monday 13th March, this allows more time for companies to send in their nominations for all categories. The nomination procedure for the Sapphire Pegasus Award is completely open; anyone can nominate a company or individual of which they feel that recognition and honoring is appropriate. CEPA EXPO 2016 is gearing up for the very first Career Day dedicated to helping and encouraging young people to take a look at the career opportunities on offer in the aviation industry. Prague based ABS Jets has successfully accomplished an IS-BAO audit Stage II. The IS-BAO audit was carried out from 22th to 25th June 2015 resulting in zero major findings, a great accolade for ABS Jets. After a series of thorough audit report quality checks, performed by several organizations (including the International Business Aviation Council in Montreal), the Stage II registration was announced on the 29 July 2015.

The 4th Baltic Business Aviation Forum took place on August 6th, in Latvia, with Riga International Airport VIP Center forming the centerpiece of the event. The Forum was organized by the Russian United Business Aviation Association, over 60 delegates from Russia and Europe participated.
